Team Captain/Owner: Neil Powers | | |

The Colt .45's have a great ace with Eric Verhayden. Eric's emergence last year as a dependable #2 starter could
mean great things for the .45's. Eric has the potential to even pick up a Cy Young if he continues to keep teams to just 3
or 4 runs. Kevin Bourassa is also a solid lead off hitter and will get on base all the time. The .45's also have the most
feared player in the league on their team in Neil Powers. The guy loves to chainsaw trees, which should strike fear into the
hearts of wifflers everywhere.

|
Besides Verhayden, who else will pitch? Bourassa had a
stellar ERA last year and went 2-0, but that was against the Cheesey Poof's. Can these guys find another pitcher? And who
will cover all that ground in the outfield with only 2 fielders?

|
When Verhayden has his slider down, don't even bother trying
to hit it. This southpaw is one of the best lefties in the league. If this team is going to go anywhere in '08, they need
Eric to win at least 5-6 games on his arm.

Verhayden has been very impressive on the mound, despite his one bad outting against the Cuda's. Eric has gotten
better following each game, which prompts some experts to say he could have a Cy Young by the end of next year. In his last
17 IP, Eric only allowed 20 runs and had 30 K's. That's good for a 7.06 ERA.

In 2006 Kevin Bourassa led the league with a .667 AVG. He has a great OBP and plays the field very well. Can Kevin return
to his old form and take the batting title again?
