Dodgers Fun Facts: The captains father
was a former single A ball player for the Montreal Expos. This team was originally called the Dodgers in 2007, then changed
their name to the Reds. Also more importantly, the league owes thanks to Ian Schoonmakers backyard. It was his mini field
that would eventually spawn the creation of Hess Field Wiffleball in 2005.

Team Captain/Owner: Mike Saccocio | | |

The good? They have one full year of play under their belts. As we've seen in the past, it sometimes takes certain
players a year to finally start playing at a high level. Also its good to have captain Mike Saccocio on your side. After winning
manager of the year, Mike will stop at nothing to recruit top talent. The only question is though, can they build on their
5-7 record despite losing two of their best players?

|
Two of the Dodgers best prospects left via free agency
in the 2008 off season. That could spell bad news for the Dodgers. With more question marks then actual pitchers, it could
be a very long season for the True Blue. Their offense also has plenty of holes in it, especially after Auspelmyer and
Phillips have both vacated. This team may have actually taken a step back from last season.
|
|
|
After collapsing in the final few games in the regular
season, these wifflers were promptly swept in the playoffs. A last place finish might be in place for the Dodgers again unless
they find some new talent.

Captain Mike Saccocio earned captain of the year award for 2007. This strategy, although sometimes questioned,
gained respect through out the league. He also leads by example, as he was one of the better hitters on his team.
