The A's have the potential to be a very good all around team. Dan Macken, Nick Bove and Bill Iachetta are all
very good hitters. These guys were the three best players on the Poof's last year.

No real news about their number two pitcher in the rotation. Tom Tierney has some question marks about his availability,
so who knows there. And we all know that you need to have a good number two pitcher to have a successful season.

The Athletics have high hopes going into 2008. It's really
hard to believe they will do worse then 1-9. The only way they can go is up. Nick Bove and his A's should play very
well in 2008 and even turn some heads.

Nick Bove got right to work, signing righty Dan Macken and Bill Iachetta to his roster. Macken and Iachetta are
two very solid players.

Nick Bove picked up some hardware at the end of the 2007 season. Nick won the Most Improved Player award for his improvement
on the mound.
