Game Recap - The Cyclones took a quick 4-0
lead off of starter Zac Longo, but the No Names responded by scoring 3 in the top of the 2nd off of Kyle LeClair. It was 5-4
going into the top of the 6th, and the No Names needed at least one more run to keep the game going. After the first two batters
struck out, Jesse Horwedel stepped up to the plate. After working the count Jesse cranked a solo shot to deep LF to tie the
game up at 5-5. Zac Longo then held the Cyclones scoreless in the bottom of the 6th to force extra frames. In the top of the
7th the No Names grabbed the lead again thanks to some great base running from Zac Longo. Chris Horwedel hit a triple and
Zac scored on a bad throw from Curt LeClair. With a 6-5 lead heading into the bottom of the 7th, Kyle LeClair helped his own
cause. Kyle belted a solo HR with 2 outs in the inning. The game then went on to the 8th and final inning. Conor Hart turned
on a fastball and hit it deep to center to give the No Names a 7-6 lead. Zac then got out of a bases loaded jam in the bottom
of the 8th to give the No Names a 1-0 lead in the best of three series.
