Game Recap -
In what many thought would be a blow out, turned out to be a somewhat of a pitchers duel. Nick Bove pitched the game of his
life, only to be let down by poor run support. Nick struck out a career high 14 batters, but it was not enough. The Poofs
just could not hit Yankee captain Nick DeCaprio. He only allowed 4 hits spread out over 6 innings of one run ball.
The other big story of the game was Ryan Skibinski. The tall righty went
7 for 7 with four runs scored, two taters and six RBIs. He was the only won who could hit off of Nick Bove, and was a
big reason the Yankees sneaked by the Poofs. With the win the Yankees clinched the division.
