Game Recap Divisional rivals faced off on Wednesday night, with Zimbabwe taking on their foes, the G-Bangers. Captain Anthony Bianchine took to the mound looking to exact some revenge from comments made by G-Banger captain in the offseason. This game had very high stakes, including weeks of trash talk until the two teams collide again at the end of the year. G-Banger starter Omar Husain looked to keep his impressive pitching display going.
Anthony Bianchine pitched a scoreless first inning following some great defensive play to get him out of a jam. His brother, Matt Bianchine, put up career numbers going 4 for 6 with a HR and 6 RBIs. Three of those RBIs came off a 3 run HR in the first inning. That blast would set the tone for the rest of the game, as Zimbabwe never looked back, cruising to a much needed 22-13 win over the G-Bangers.
