Game Recap - The Barracuda's struggling offense continued to put up few runs, but five was just enough. It was the lowest scoring game of the year, as Longo and Hess traded strike outs. Longo pitched an unbelievable game, but it was walks that killed him, handing him his first career loss. The Barracudas started the top of the first by scoring two runs. Some smart base running by James Strang gave the Barracuda's a 2-0 lead, and it proved to be all the run support Chris Hess needed.
The only mistake Hess made all game was a fastball to Zac Longo, who deposited it into LF. Zac was onto Hess all night, going 3 for 5 off of him. Zac's HR cut the lead to 2-1, but the Barracuda's struck back putting up three more big runs in the top of the 5th. Chris and the Cuda's held on to win their second game of the year.
